Mishimoto has developed a truly innovate design for their Hot Side Intercooler Pipe Kit for the Ford Focus RS, by increasing internal volume by 40% with a 2.5" inlet and outlet diameters which maintains an average pressure drop of 45%! Included in their design is a cast mid-section that retains the use of the factory ducting that directs airflow to the front PTU. Mishimoto shaped their pipe to direct air right to the front PTY using that front duct, so airflow isn't lost like with other traditional designs. This pipe comes with a 5-ply wire-reinforced silicone  to attach to the turbo and intercooler, which provides superior heat resistance and flexibility to accommodate engine movement. Mishimoto designed this kit specifically for the Ford Focus RS so all hoses would be a direct fit with no modification needed or required.
